About / Mission Statement
1
Art for Our Parks celebrates artists inspired by wildlife, parks, and conservation efforts. Our mission is to connect people to nature through creativity while promoting ethical, sustainable, and conservation-focused art practices.
We believe in:
Protecting wild animals and habitats.
Ethical engagement with wildlife and natural spaces.
Supporting artists who create with conservation awareness and sustainability in mind.
Educating the public about responsible behavior in wild places.
Supporting independent conservation campaigns, research, and mentorship programs that inform our movement.
Through our programs, we provide resources, opportunities, and guidance to artists while inspiring audiences to value and protect our natural world.
Conservation Campaigns
2
Our leadership is actively engaged in conservation work that informs the platform through ongoing research, field experience, and academic study. These efforts—along with new research campaigns, internships, and field projects as they emerge—are shared collectively under the Stories of the Land tab.
Stories of the Land serves as a living record of real-world conservation involvement, grounding Art for Our Parks in science-based, ethical practices rather than abstract advocacy.
We also extend collaboration opportunities to artist ambassadors who are directly involved in conservation work, ensuring that the voices represented on the platform reflect lived experience and active stewardship.
