About Art For Our Parks *

Art For Our Parks is a community‑driven platform dedicated to elevating creativity in service of our natural world. We bring together artists, photographers, writers, and conservation advocates to protect our National Parks, public lands, and the wildlife that depend on them.

From inspiring stories of place to resources that help artists create sustainably, our goal is to use art as a tool for awareness, education, and meaningful action.

Our Mission

To unite art, education, and conservation in ways that inspire sustainable action, empower artists, and amplify environmental impact through creativity. This platform supports artists in making their work part of a larger movement for stewardship and positive change.

Our Vision

A world where creative expression and environmental stewardship go hand in hand — where artists are equipped, inspired, and encouraged to engage with conservation issues and foster deeper connections between people and the land.

How It Started

Art For Our Parks began with a conversation about using creativity to raise awareness for our public lands. That initial idea has since blossomed into a dynamic online platform that not only showcases talented artists but also supports conservation through storytelling, education, and community engagement.

Early inspiration came from conversations with artist Nikki Molick, whose passion for parks helped spark the concept.

Since the public launch, the project has grown to include multiple facets — from artist resources to independent conservation writing and storytelling — and is actively maintained and expanded by the founder, Ashley Glasco.
