Help fund a Conservation Communicator’s Journey to Uganda
Documenting wildlife conservation through photography, storytelling, and public education.
Wild Uganda: A Conservation Storytelling Expedition
The Mission
In September 2027, I will travel to Uganda to participate in a wildlife conservation expedition focused on some of Africa's most iconic and threatened species, including mountain gorillas and other wildlife that depend on healthy ecosystems for survival.
As a conservation communicator and photographer, I have dedicated my education and professional development to wildlife conservation, environmental storytelling, and public engagement.
This expedition is an opportunity to document conservation efforts on the ground and share those stories with audiences who may never have the chance to witness these landscapes and conservation challenges firsthand.

My background includes:
U.S. military veteran
Bachelor’s degree with a pre-veterinary focus (ASU)
Hands on experience working in military veterinary clinic, military working dogs, and equine ambulatory service
Graduate Certificate in Wildlife Conservation Actions (CSU, 3.9 GPA)
Graduate Certificate in Communications for Conservation (CSU, 4.0 GPA)
Writer and Conservation Storyteller
Art For Our Parks
StoryFest Finalist 2026, third place for Best Written Story
Founder and Executive Director of Art For Our Parks
My goal is to bridge the gap between conservation science and public understanding through storytelling, photography, and education.
Why Uganda?
Uganda is home to extraordinary biodiversity and globally significant conservation efforts. The opportunity to observe conservation initiatives firsthand and document them through photography and writing will allow me to create meaningful educational content that highlights both challenges and successes in wildlife conservation.
